TPS25221: Current-Limit Threshold Equation

Part Number: TPS25221

Hi team,

I have a question about the Current-Limit Threshold Equation in the d/s.

The d/s describes the  Current-Limit Threshold Equation as follows.

IOS(max)=52640V / Rlim^0.97

IOS(typ)=55960V / Rlim^1.004

IOS(min)=56850V / Rlim^1.033

I think the numerators of IOS(max) and IOS(min) are reversed. Therefore, I think the following equation is correct. Is my understanding correct?

IOS(max)=56850V / Rlim^0.97

IOS(typ)=55960V / Rlim^1.004

IOS(min)=52640V / Rlim^1.033

Also, could you please revise IOS(max) and IOS(min) in the Fig.24? These are reversed.

Regards,

Yamaguchi

  • Hi Yamaguchi,

The formula is correct without needing modification.

    Please double confirm.

Figure24  indeed has something wrong with wrong label.

    Will correct later.

    Thanks for reminding.
