Results of Pspice simulation of TPS22917 does not give expected rise time and turn-on time results based on the data sheet equations and examples.
For example, I tried to reproduce Figure 16 in the data sheet: Vin = 3.6V, CT = 1000pF, RL= 10 ohms, CL = 1 uF with Pspice simulation. Pspice results are T_on slightly under 1 ms, Rise time about 600 usec. This is over twice as fast as Figure 16 result.
Results change when CT is increased to 10nF, but not as much as equation indicate. Rise time = 2.85 ms, T_on = 5 msec. Figure 19 indicates T_on would be over 25 ms, and from Figure 21 rise time would be about 8.5 ms.
Am I doing something wrong in the simulation or does the model have limtied CT range?
