LM36922H: Inquiry about individual power drive for each LED channel

Hi,

My customer is developing EPD (Electronic Paper Display) using LM36922H.

I want to drive each LED Channel of LM36922H with different power.

Each channel has 11 and 12 series LEDs, respectively, and I want to operate with different power for both channels.

Q1. Is it possible to operate the two channels with different power?

Hi,

If you have to do this, then the power dissipation of the fewer LED string will be much larger, which is caused by internal current sink.

Is separate power control possible internally?

The customer needs to adjust the brightness of the two types of LEDs below, WARM and COOL.

1) The brightness of WARM and COOL are controlled equally

2) Differently control the brightness of WARM and COOL

3) Only one of WARM and COOL controls brightness

The customer's circuit diagram is attached as follows.

Please check if the above control is possible in that part.

Hi,

According to your description, it seems independent control of each string is needed. This device doesn't support such fucntion.

How about choosing two LED drivers to control each string respectively?
