BQ40Z50-R2: How to solve if designed with BQ40Z50RSMR-R2, but buy BQ40Z50RSMR

Part Number: BQ40Z50-R2

We use BQ40Z50RSMR-R2 in design, but our purchaser ordered BQ40Z50RSMR, and there are already 200pcs produced for shipping to end customer.

So, is there any method to solve this mistake? should we update our software ?

Hi Cyan,

The only difference between the BQ40Z50RSMR-R2 and BQ40Z50RSMR is the firmware. You can resolve this by flashing these devices with the .srec or bq.fs files that you used in development.
