TPS7A11: Output capacitance when driving an FPGA

All,

One of my customers is using the TPS7A11 to power an FPGA rail. Maximum output capacitance for the TPS7A11 is 22 uF; minimum capacitance at the input of the FPGA is 47uF + 4 100 nF, trace is about 1 cm. What is recommended here.

Hello Joe,

What is the maximum Derating for the capacitors they are using?

Do you know the part number for the capacitors they are using or the estimated ESR?

What is the estimated impedance of the trace they are using (would need to know the width and the weight of the copper in addition to the length you provided)?

What is the implication of using a lesser capacitor value for the FPGA?
