My customer want to use TPS61378-Q1, but they have one concern. As the title, could the efficiency of TPS61378-Q1 be above 90%? The spec is as follows:

Vin=5V, Vout=12V, Iout=2A

Hi Jiawei,

TPS61378-Q1 cannot support such kind of power. Please take a look at TPS61088-Q1.

Hi Jiawei,

The output power is 24W, assume efficiency is 88%, average input current is 24W/0.88/5V=5.45A. TPS61378-Q1 switching current limit is only 4.8A typically.
