LP5562: LED driver LP5562 WLED usage

Part Number: LP5562

Hi team,

In my customer's project, LP5562 is used to drive a RGB LED.
Because of that there is no need for white LED in their system, and they need one more GPIO to control the reset signal of other chip.

They would like to consult with you. Could they use this WLED sink drive pin with the below NMOS circuit to provide a GPIO function as a reset signal for another chip?
WLED pin just need to have two status: a) 0mA sink to provide a High level for Q800; b) 18mA sink current to provide Low level for Q800.

Whether WLED sink and RGB dimming can be independent controlled?

  • Hi Fengbin,

WLED sink and RGB dimming can be controlled independently.

But I think you should take care of the logic of the circuit. when the current sink set to 0mA which provide a High level for Q800 ,VQ800-3 will be pull down and Q801 will be turned off, if you want to set INT_ISP to high there need to pull up the PIN3 of Q801 to supply.

    Best Regard
