BQ34110: EOS LOAD

Part Number: BQ34110

Is there a minimum current for the EOS algorithm to work correctly?

My EOS load is around 56mA @ 14V (NiMH battery pack fully charged). I used this current because I misunderstood the 1% of the manual as the 1% of the maximum 1C current of my pack (5A nominal) instead of 1% of the charge. Anyway, using a low current had an additional motivation, avoiding the use of high power resistors with their tendency to produce a lot of heat (and bulky size, even if SMT).

With the current drawn by my circuit, it will take around one hour for the battery to discharge 1%.

Is that OK?

Thanks in advance.
