TPS659037EVM-090: about "Powering up the Device"

Hello E2E,

I read the user's guide of TPS659037EVM-090.

"All sequenced rails will power up to the predefined voltage."

About the 4th item "Powering up the Device", I could not to understand for each railsoutput timing.

- Does EVM output each rail voltage by the operation of No. 5 of "4 Powering up the Device"?
- When using EVM, which is the operation to output all rails with EVM on GUI?

Hello,

Following EVM user's guide item# 4, the device will power up and the output rails are at the levels defined by the OTP. The output rails can be changed by the GUI through I2C. I hope this answer your question.

In Table 5-9 "ON Request", when input HIGH in POWERHOLD (GPIO_7), you will be notified of the ON request.
Is it possible to turn PMIC on / off without using PWRON or RPWRON?

Hi ACGUY,

If you look at table 5-11 that contains all of the OFF Requests. If you would like to use POWERHOLD to turn the device on and off that is a possibility. You can also use the POWERDOWN pin to turn the PMIC off if that is desired.
