UCC21222: Maximum dead time available

Hello,

I am planning to use the UCC21222 gate driver. In the datasheet, it said that we can programme the dead time. There maximum dead time shown is 500ns for 50Kohm resistance. Can you please tell us, what maximum dead time we can give in this gate driver?

Hi Navin,

The longest deadtime that we test up to is 500ns.

If I want to generate a delay of 1000ns by putting 100K, will that work?

Hi Navin,

I looked back into the DT limits, we apparently do have some data to help you. After 500k RDT, we have no data. The deadtime limit we test up to is 5us. To answer your question, yes 100k RDT @ 1us will work fine. Here is a table showing bench testing 3 parts sat room temp:
