TPS54335-2A: Can I share an input capacitor for two TPS54335 design

Part Number: TPS54335-2A

Hi ,

We are designing two DC step-down circuitries which are sourced

from same Vin (12 ~ 24V), and they will generate 3.3V (2A) and 5V (2A) respectively.

Due to the limitation of board size, there is only one dielectric capacitor

is allowed for the design. If the two step-down conveter are placed closely,

can I combine the two input capacitors (47uF/35V) with a larger capacitor

(100uF/35V)? Will it casue any EMI or stability issue with a shared capacitor?

Actually, we are unable to identify which input capacitor will sreve which TPS54335

 since they are placed closely.

Best Regards,

Ben
