TPS53647: 4 phase design for 0.95v/160A

Hi team,

My customer is evaluating TPS53647+CSD95410 for 4 phase 0.95v/160A solution to power up accelerate card.

I only find the reference design of 140A as below link with another power mos. Would you think that it can be done? Do we have 4 phase 160A reference design? Thanks.

Hello, Can you provide some more information about the peak vs. thermal design current in this application, as well as the cooling and temperature environment? 40A/ph may be marginal if the thermal environment is aggressive.

Thank for your help. Please refer the below feedback.

Environment temp. spec.: 45C , Load : 110~140Amp continuously, it will depend on the computing loading. Cooling: airflow speed 300~600LFM

Hi, As Matt mentioned, the challenge might be the thermal design with high continuous current (if we consider that as thermal design current). From device current capability point of view, CSD95410 is capable of handling 40A/phase continuous current.
