LM73605: Webench simulation failed

Hello team,

I would like to simulate LM73605 with Webench.

Conditions are as below.

Vin: 22V to 26V
Vout: 12V
Iout: 2A

However, simulations fail for load transient, input transient and steady state simulation.

Please advise how to simulate the performance. or please send me simulation result report or actual testing report if you have.

Hi Taketo-san,

I will bring this up to our Webench team.
In the meantime, can you use the PSPICE for TI to generate the load transient result?

It seems that we can simulate the items with LM73606 on webench.

Do you think simulation result of LM73606 will be equivalent to LM73605 simulation result if the use case is 2A?

Hi Taketo-san,

The result will be similar since it is the same IC with different current limit trim.
I have brought this to webench and they mentioned that it will be updated on the next release.
In the meantime, you may use the LM73606 result as temporary solution.

Thank you for your comment.

I understand LM73606 webench simulation will give similar result unless it hits current limit.

I will inform customer using PSPICE for TI or using LM73606 webench simulation in the meantime.

Please let me know once LM73605 webench simulation is recovered, just in case.
