Hi,

In your datasheet I heard that UCC25600 is suitable for power less tha 1KW. But in my point, it's only a cotroller IC and should be suitable for more higher power.

Currently I want to design a LLC circuit with 3.5KW, did the IC fit?

Also in your refer design, the IC is primary side cotrolled, so an opto-coupler is needed. But in my design the IC is secondary side cotrolled , so what's the feedback circuit? Can you give me a refer circuit?

    UCC25600 can support full bridge LLC also which can handle 3.5kW, here is an reference circuit.2570.Schematic Prints.pdf

    And UCC25600 is recommended to located on primary side as the circuit.

    Thanks for your reply and schematic. In my opinion, if the driver ic is boostrap, the UCC25600 should be primary. But I driver the MOSFET with driver transformer, then the UCC25600 can be located in the secondary side. What's your opinion? If I use the UCC25600 in the secondary side, what's the risk? And also can you give me a feedback cirucit? I think the current mirror is useful, how do you think about it?

    You are correct, In theory, UCC25600 can be located in primary side or secondary side if the driver circuit with driver transformer.

    But I still recommended to put UCC25600 on primary side since I don't have a feedback circuit to you. And there is no further benefit compare with putting UCC25600 on primary side.
