Base on spec, bq40z50 gauge will wake up when the PACK pin is above startup voltage (in the datasheet). The max voltage is 2.45 volts.
However, based on my test result by TI EVM, wake up voltage is needed more than 2.8 volts. I would like to ask you checking with designer if this is correct.
Or you can help to perform a test on EVM.
