Hi,

I wish to use the Headset detection provision in TPS65950.

I found that the data sheet recommends to use GPIO2 pin for the same.

When I checked the pin details in signal description GPIO2 is only a GPIO pin no other functionality.

Please let me know the details of "HSDET".

Do we need to configure GPIO2 for Headset detection or it is having headset detection functionality (HSDET) also?

    Hi,

    This is GPIO pin  which can be used for HS detection. You can use any GPIO for that matter. There is no special function in the device for HS detection.

    I think it will be better to use this pin as the OMAP software will have this function/driver.
