Hi team,
Any reason why my customer cannot simulate this part in Webench with a 3.9uH inductor? He received this error-

Hi Lauren,
Thank you for your question.
WEBENCH recommends to select a 1uH inductor because that is the value recommended in the IC datasheet.

Therefore it presents a warning error, when choosing an inductor of 3.9uH.
However, if you click again on SAVE, WEBENCH should update the inductor value (I see from your picture that the inductor value has already been set to 3.9uH) and you should be able to run the simulation.
Does this work? Does WEBENCH give any other errors when running the simulation?
As additional comment, please remember that in the real design the customer should check the stability and performance of the system when choosing an inductor value outside of the LC matrix.
Thanks,
Stefano
