My customer has some questions for BQ25619 as below. Could you help to check my comments and provide your comments for these questions? Thanks.
1. Can the charger IC detect the battery voltage and charging current?
Yes.
2. Can we also read the current charging current and battery voltage not what we set the charging current on your charger IC?
Yes, we can read charging current by REG02 and REG03, battery voltage by REG04.
3. If we enable the charge termination, and we set the current termination on 20mA. Our charging voltage set 4.1V (battery full capacity voltage), if
the system hit the termination current and stop the charging. When the charger will charge the battery again? What's the charger released point?
You can refer to REG4 0x04[0] to set recharge point.
4. Does any case which battery not full charge, but the charger already hit the charge termination?
Normally, when charger occur fault(Charger_fault, Battery_fault or battery_temp_fault...) or your charging voltage setting is low than your battery voltage.
