Good day.
During testing of our customers circuit board, a TPS54341 5V regulator could be unpowered at the input and experience 3.3 VDC applied to its output. Will this damage the TPS54341 circuit?
Note that this is a new design, still on paper and the subject of testing came up and this was one of their concerns, i.e., powering the MCU (3.3V) for programming purposes would subject the 'upstream' switching regulator to this 'backfeeding'.
