Part Number: TPS55288-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS55288,
Hello,
I'm using the TPS55288-Q1 to power a USB-C port. This ports needs to be a DRP. When a SRC, it is powered from the TPS55288. When this port is a SNK, do I need a load switch / FET inline between the output of the TPS55288 and the Vbus of the port to prevent 5V voltage from being present at the Vout, ISN, and ISP pins when the device is disabled and there is no input voltage? I assume not, but would like clarification. In other words, how does the TPS55288 behave with reverse current? Is it blocked (I assume so due to the FET shown below)?

Thanks,
Rob
