Part Number: LM5116

Hi

Does LM5116 have the below functions?

  - Input Overvoltage LockOut

  - Output Overvoltage Protection

If there is no function, can you recommend an additional external circuit?

    Hi David,

    No input OVLO here. If the output swings high, the loop will respond by turning on the low-side FET to bring Vout back into regulation.

    Thank you for your support.

    I have additional questions.

    1. Thermal Protection

        : I know that the LM5116 has thermal protection function.

           It will probably be a thermal protection at over 150 degrees.

           Is there any way to adjust the protection setting temperature? 

           For example, is there any way to make temperature protection  at 85 degrees?

    2. Output Voltage Protection

        : If the output voltage increases when the FB pin is open, can LM5116 protect it?

    Hi David,

    1. No adjustment is possible externall to the thermal shutdown. Consider using a separate thermal monitor IC if needed.

    2. If FB is open, the contorller does not have output voltage information for regulation and COMP will go high.
