[bq30z55 v0.42] Development tool

Hi,

We have a custom battery provided by battery packer Simplo and would like to modify shutdown time from 10 secs default. 

After doing some research, it seems bq30z55 is TI custom part and the development tool to access gauge is quite different from category parts.
So would you please help to provide test tool (and .bqz file?) for us to try to access this gauge? Thanks.

    The information about bq30z55 (that includes FW, tools) is only divulged under NDA. If your company does not have an NDA in place for this device, there is a legal jeopardy involved and you should discard all information you have about this device.
    If your project requires a device similar to bq30z55, I suggest you look at bq30z554-R1 (catalog device) on ti.com. If your project has more flexibility, I recommend you look at bq40z50-Rx (catalog device, much more recent, more features).

    If you got the bq30z55 device from Simplo battery supplier they should have all the needed tools for you and can assist in your battery bring up.
