most of this comes down to the same problem already described in LP5520: LP5520 Calibration:
The datasheet (in its March 2016 revision) lacks a lot of details on how to properly interpret or determine the EEPROM values for stand-alone mode.
In the 2007 revision of the datasheet of the device by National Semiconductor, the following Application Notes are referred to with respect to how to perform calibration:
- Application Note AN1459, LP5520 RGB Backlight Driver Calibration
- Application Note AN1462, LP5520 RGB Backlight Driver Evaluation Kit
Both, again, are released by National Semiconductor
I was unable to find those documents on the internet so far, so i was hoping that maybe TI or someone from the community can at least provide a copy of the old versions by National Semiconductor.
