TPS2640: N.C. pin connection

What is the recommended connection for N.C. pins? Leave them all floating?

EVM schematics showed some N.C. pins connected to RTN, and some floating. Can provide more clarity on official recommendation?

    Hi Eddie,

    NC pins of TPS2640 device can be left open or can be connected to RTN for enhanced thermal performance. For channel-2, NC pins 1-7 & 16 are connected to RTN as it helps to extend the copper area. We left other NC pins OPEN as connecting them to RTN does not make noticeable difference.
