TPS61170: -G4 suffix, any difference

Hi,

Is there any difference between the TPS61170DRV and TPS61170DRVG4? I see this is another part number under the ordering options for the TPS61170 and i don't see this as a separate device on the website. Can you confirm if I can specify this as a direct substitute with no issues.

Hi Sir,

There is no obvious difference between TPS61170DRV and TPS61170DRVG4. You can use either one in your application. G4 represents lead free devices which is an out of date naming method.
