Hello.

I asked about TPS22918, and I received the answer that R_L in the schematic of the data sheet is not the actual chip resistor to be mounted.
Is the "Load Current / Resistance (RL)" in the circuit diagram in the TPS22919 data sheet the resistance that is also not actually mounted?
Isn't it necessary to mount a chip resistor (1kΩ, etc.) between VOUT and GND?

    Hashino-san,

    Just as with TPS22918, the R_L over here is to symbolize a load resistance. We use an R_L of 100Ohms, 10 Ohms, etc to characterize the device. Parameters such as timing are only possible to device once a load or test condition is setup. You can find the test conditions in the electrical characteristic for the datasheet.

    As far as your question is concerned, there is no need for a specific load resistance R_L to be placed on VOUT to GND for the device to work. This is symbolic to note a load.
