Our Customer is using TPS2590 in their projects at the moment. However due to material shortage, they are planning to use TPS2420.
They see that pins 13 and 14 are different w.r.t the functionality of each IC. In TPS2590, pins 13 and 14 are GND pins whereas in TPS2420, the pins 13 and 14 are IMON and PG. In this case, the maximum Load current is around 2A.
Can they connect pins 13 and 14 of TPS2420 to GND? If no, what are the possible issues?
