Our customer is considering BQ24073.
When measuring the voltage (VBAT) of the BAT pin when the battery is not connected, the following voltage waveforms of A and B are observed.
(Mounted on 200 boards, only one of them has the waveform of B, and the rest have the waveform of A.)

In the data sheet, the waveform of VBAT when the battery is not connected is as shown in the figure below.
If you confirm this, the waveform of A is the same as the one shown below, but the waveform of B is different.
Could you give us some advice on the factors that cause waveforms like B to be observed?
(If possible, share the actual observed waveform and circuit diagram offline (e-mail).)

* If you check the description in the following data sheet, the BAT voltage when the battery is not connected rises to VBAT (REG), but it is not listed until it drops to 0V.
