Hi TI,

now we are on LED brightness debugging with LP8860.

our SW engineer tried to set the REG 'DISP_CL1_BRT' and saw the brightness :

1) 0x300 -> 0x3FF : no difference

2) 0x3FF -> 0x400 : brightness changed

3) 0x400 -> 0x500 : no difference

4) 0x500 -> 0x600 : brightness changed

I wonder, what is the difference ?

is there any debugging point for this? could you recommend me for that ?

Hi Minwoo,

Actually, what's the PWM dimming mode are you using? And do you use the internal register to set the channel current or with external resistor. It is better if you could provide the EEPROM configuration.

I got to know setting enable 'EN_PWM_I ' -> enable hybrid PWM and current dimming mode.
not cluster mode.
