BQ34110: the required configuration for correct data outputs

Part Number: BQ34110

i used this module BQ34110 for reading battery parameters only and didn't use charger feature . and there is more configuration registers in technical reference manual .

are there  important registers and data flash values can i check their values to read correct values for current , volt, temperature , SOC,SOH?

  • Hi Gehad,

Battery gauges can be quite complex if this is your first time using one. There are commands shown in the TRM for reading the parameters you mention - these are not stored in data flash since they are changing over time. To get accurate SOC and SOH, you need to configure the gauge for your battery. You can search for the GPC_CEDV tool to learn more about this process for a CEDV gauge.

    Best regards,

    Matt
