Hi Team,

Customer having issue with our BQ27441-G1. Below is the inquiry.

"I have 3 bq27441-G1 chips.

All three instances exhibit the same behavior, namely:
the value read from cell SOC1 Set Threshold is ALWAYS 64 (0x40), no matter what is written to it.

In order to avoid additional questions, I inform you that writing-reading ALL other memory cells of all 3
chips is successful.

Same issue as: e2e.ti.com/.../bq27441-g1-bq27441-g1

Thank you for your response.

According to customer they are not using EV2400. As found in the E2E link, the customer does not convince that the EV2400 is the reason for the unchanged threshold.

Maynard,

I don't understand what you are trying to do. Are you trying to just read the DF location associated to the SOC1/SOCF parameters? The suggestion is still valid to use the EV2400 and TI provided tools to validate if the issue is with the TI fuel gauge or your setup.

Please provide more detail into your procedure as well as the FW. Please also provide a bqStudio log of the all the registers so we can verify the state of the gauge when trying to reproduce.
