BQ24040: Charger control solution with multiple temperature conditions

Hello all,

My customer utilizes BQ24040 as the charger solution.

However, the control condition is tougher than before. The condition depends on temperature is now shown below:

(a) above 40 degree : disabled

(b) from 10 to 40 degree : fast-charged (1C, larger than 500mA)

(c) from 0 to 10 degree : slow-charged (0.2C under 100mA)

This may require the software control as the solution. (Ex: I2C interface to MCU)

I wanna to ask if there is the suitable solution.
