BQ40Z50-R4-DEVICE-FW: GPIO Mapped to SLEEP

Part Number: BQ40Z50-R4-DEVICE-FW

The linked post reports that there is (was?) a bug in the 40z80 firmware which prevents the GPIO being mapped to the sleep flag of operationstatus. Is this bug also present in the 40z50, particularly R4?

I assume the GPIO remain active as per their configuration during sleep mode? I see in the datasheet that they go Hi-Z during shutdown but I would assime they are active during sleep if they can be linked to the sleep flag...

  • Hi Steven,

These devices do not share the same firmware so if there is a bug reported for the BQ40Z80, it will not mean the same bug exists in the 40z50 firmware. With that said, I do not believe that bug is present in the bq40z50-R4 firmware.

    Best,

    Jessica
