Looking for indicator LED driver

Could you describe your end equipment more clearly. And TPS92612 may satisfy your need.

Our application is for driving a LED in opto-isolator. I want to use GPIO to control the LED on/off. After I check the TPS92612, Does it have better performance than LP5522 ?? May I know the leadtime and price for LP5522 and TPS92612??

Hi Frank:

I add some more detail formation to you.  There is only "One" LED in single channel. I have 3 channels.  So I don't think I need too powerful LED driver for this application. I think about to use NPN BJT to archive my goal. I can't make the BJT work in satisfy mode so I want to seek for a LED driver to get it done.

1） About the GPIO, do you mean you use uC to generate PWM single to control the brightness?

2)  If question 1's answer is yes, you can consider 3 pcs of tps92612 or 1pc of TPS29630 in this case.

1.No,  I just want LED on/off.  (100% duty or off). I will control the brightness by current.

Is LP5522 not recommended ??     

By the way, If I control the LED brightness with PWM such as 50% duty.   Would the LED turn off entirely during the 50% off duty cycle or it just lower the lightness slightly ?

I can't find TPS29630 datasheet on Ti website. Is it EOL?
