Hi,team
My customer is trying to design a "Ideal Diode Bridge Controller" with a AC-Voltage 3,3MHz ~14MHz -> Out: >6VDC & >1A
Could you please advise whether we have "ideal" Diode for at AC-Voltage 3,3MHz .. 14MHz.
Thank you.

Hi Yanni,
Thanks for the inquiry. We do have a number of ideal diode parts. The main concern I have is the speed.
LM5051 for example might be able to work, it responds in 50ns to reverse current.
LM7310 has an internal FET, but I don't think it will be able to respond fast enough.
I am looping in some others from the product line to potentially help.
If it seems these parts will not work, we can help to find some high speed amplifiers and sensing circuits that might enable you to build something discrete.
Thanks,
Robert
Hi Robert,
Thanks for providing some background to Yanni and looping us in.
Hi Yanni,
For rectifying AC to DC, you will Ideal Diode controllers which do not have ground reference (like LM74670-Q1) in configuration as shown below.
As of now the ideal Diode controllers that we have can support frequencies only upto 300-Hz. This is because of lower Gate pullup and pull down strength, time to turn OFF the FET.
For Ideal Diode controllers which are referred to GND, we can support frequencies as high as 200 kHz with controllers like LM74810-Q1.
So we cannot support frequencies as high as 3.3MHz ~14MHz for Ideal Diode Bridge controllers.
