BQ40Z80: Ext. balancing for 5S BQ40Z80

Hi all,

in case of using 5S configuration and External balancing, is this circuitry needed?

or is it only a driver for the 7th cell case it is installed?

is this the correct way to connect sense and Ext. balancing to the BQ40Z80 for 5S ?
