Hi,

Good day.

Our customer wants to know what to do with the DESAT if they not going to use its functionality.

    Hi Cedrick,

    Welcome to E2E!

    If the DESAT is not being used to detect a short circuit or over current in the system then it should be connected directly to GND2. Being connected directly to GND2 will prevent the driver from shutting down due to the voltage on this pin exceeding the threshold voltage for shutdown (9V).
