Device has a Junction-to-ambient thermal resistance. So as power dissipation across device increases junction temperature will rise above ambient temperature. In normal operation power dissipation will be some milliwatts and junction temperature will be almost equal to ambient temperature. So you can take ambient temperature range same as junction temperature range. Now during the fault conditions such as overcurrent, short at output when power dissipation across device increases then junction temperature can go beyond 125C and when it reaches 150C device will hit thermal shutdown . So you can say abs max junction temperature can go upto  150C.
