Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS54335A
It looks like these devices are basically P2P except for the VIN range of BD9E301 is better, and IOUT range of TPS54331 is better.
The only concern is if SS can be connected to GND...? The BD9E301 connects that pin to GND calling it "AGND"
Are there any other devices in similar pinout that are QFN or something?
What about a recommendation for VIN = 24V nominal, but the device supports VIN >36V, and the output is 3.3V and can support up to 2.5A output current?
Do we have something like this, which pin-pitch >= 0.5mm?
EDIT: I just found the TPS545xx looks even better!!! I think the package we have would be called HSOIC, and we have some VIN = 42V options with high current...
For this device, it looks like we need a RT timing resistor...this pin can't be pulled to GND, right?
