Hi Mangal,
Can you give more information on when you see the wrong battery status?
Is this related to your previous post? https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management/f/power-management-forum/960777/compiler-bq27z561-why-bq27z561-reports-wrong-charging-state-when-charger-is-not-attached-to-it

Answer of 1st question:
This issue get generated randomly only when charger connected to it. we use bq24600 charger circuit with 1s6p cells. so when temperature increase that time charging of battery i think get disconnected and it get reconnected when temperature get down.
Answer of 2nd question:
No this is not related to my previous post because that issue generate when charger not connected to it

Now i need help to deal with this situation. on user interface side when charger connected at that time i am showing symbol of charging. but due to above problem user feel that charger not get connected though charger connected to battery pack so what i need to do so that temperature not get increase ?
Hello,
I do not understand your questions or problem, are you seeing the gauge say there's a charge but there is not? If you pass the charge current threshold the gauge will report that there is charge.

I am seeing charger connected to it. But due to temperature increase detected, someway it stop the charging battery pack and after some time as temperature decreases it start charging. i am embedded developer so in circuit which part it do it i don't know. in circuit we used bq27z561 and bq2980.
so, i want know which phenomena doing this ? how this issue get solved [ for example in mobile charger connected to it at that time this type of issue not get generated, It continuously show charging ] ?
Hello,
Sorry for the late response, I do not think this is the gauge because the gauge has no FET to disable charge, it must be related to the bq2980 protection circuit, check the conditions on the protector.
Sincerely,
Wyatt Keller
