BQ25606: BQ25606RGER query

Part Number: BQ25606

Hi

The customer design 30 PCS of BQ25606, 9 of them appeared preoblem.

After being fully charged and the adapter was removed for a period of time, they could not start up.

The investigation found that the SYS pin of BQ25606 had no output, and the VBAT pin was about 4V.

It can be turned on after the external power supply is activated, and there is a probability that it will not get up after a period of time after the external power removed. It is suspected that the chip is powered on to trigger the discharge protection.

I wonder if the chip has higher requirements for capacitive load, which must be less than 500uF?

The yellow line is the voltage of the BAT pin, and the green line is the system voltage measured by LI_VBAT after the SYS pin passes through the J4 switch.

Thanks
