LM5155: MCU controlled power supply with the lowest possible shutdown current waste

Part Number: LM5155

Hi.

In a battery powered system, I need to have the lowest current consumption from LM5155 in shutdown mode, controlled by an MCU. I don't need clock sync from MCU, nor UVLO features.

To be sure the LM5155 is off even if the MCU is not yet correctly initialized or even off, I thought to use the configuration shown in fig. 9-15 of the data sheet, but with a pull-down resistor of some kOhms after the 10 Ohm protection resistor, without any pull-up to save also the resistor divider current.

Is that correct?

Could you please suggest a suitable value for that pull-down?

thank you in advance

Guido
