TPS22950: Ilim Questions

Part Number: TPS22950

Hello team,

I have a couple questions regarding the Ilim specs in the datasheet.

The first is what I suspect is a typo, seems like this should be Vin - Vout?

And following up on that, is there any data showing the Ilim range when Vin - Vout is less than 0.3V? A graph of that in the DS would be really helpful I think.

Similarly, is there any data on the tolerance over a tighter temp range/at 25C?

Thanks,

Michael

  • Hi Michael,

Thanks for bringing that to our attention, it is a typo. It is supposed to be VIN-VOUT=0.3V.

This test condition describes the condition under which the device was tested and how the values were gained. Putting this voltage difference across the device guarantees that a controlled, testable over current event takes place. We do not have any data for smaller voltages as smaller voltages as this voltage difference was use to place the device in its limiting mode.

The current limit accuracy specs remain the same at 25C. Please use the datasheet values throughout the operating range of the device.

    Thanks,

    Shreyas
