BQ24093: BQ24093 query

Hello Star,

How are you measuring the charging current in this case? What is the voltage on the OUT pin? If OUT is 1.8V the charger will be in precharge and charge at 20% of ISET ( ~28mA). Once battery goes above Pre-charge to fast-charge transition threshold you will be in fast charge (2.5V)

The charger will regulate current delivered to the OUT pin, if you have a load also connected to BAT this can impact the results.

I use a current reader to check the charging current on the adapter. When the voltage of out is 1.8V  the battery is not connected?

Why the indicator light on in this state?

From the charging curve, the current is lower than the terminate current, but did not stop charge.

For the 1.8V case, you may have been seeing the battery detect waveform, refer to Figure 8 of the d/s.
