BQ34Z100-G1: When switching on: Write initial soc value

Hello, 

We have an application that requires the bq34z100-g1 to be switched off. An EEPROM would then save the last SOC value.  

When switching on, the controler would write that value back in bq34z100-g1. Is it possible to write a soc value? 

The trm says it is a read only access, but could you confirme it?

the deviation of the chem ID is such that the value found by the OCV readings wouldn't be so accurate.
