RTOS/AM5728: DCAN Receive Issue in DSP core

Hello,

I am using the DCAN example app for C66x core on AM5728, and i am not able to receive any DCAN messages. I was able to transmit the message successfully.

I am using Peak Analyzer to transmit and receive the CAN messages, and the the eval board does not receive any messages. I am using DCANGetData function to receive the messages. Not sure if i am reading the bus correctly.

I really appreciate your help.

Hi Deepthi,

Can you provide me the details of the test like which test are you using and what version of SDK are you using?

Also, when you send a message from Peak Analyzer, are you seeing any errors towards Peak analyzer tool?

Thank you for the response. I made some changes to the RTOS app this time and included DCAN example. Please see the attachment for reference. rtos_template_app_Mods.zip

Here is the trace for Peak Anakyzer

I am using SDK version 5_00_00_15. Transmission seems to be fine, but how do i detect the received frames on the bus? I really appreciate your help.

Lali,

i noticed that thread before and the transmission was successful. But i need some help with the receive part though. The attachment i included in my reply to Vivek is taken from the other thread including some changes to the DCAN Receive part.

Lali,

Any update on my post? How could we view the data on the CAN Bus on AM5728? I am not sure if the data sent from Peak Analyzer is actually available on the CAN BUS. I really appreciate your help.
