According to map-file, in IAR code takes pretty less place.

IAR EW is good. but debugging is not good, if you are using on board debugger that comes with MSP432 launchpad and Sensor tag. Other launchpad like tiva c series on board debugger are good with IAR.

have you experienced debugging problem with IAR EW. I have debugging experience with IAR EW 8051, i am using cc2540 and cc debugger. When you hit the run button and during running you can not set the break point, it says device busy. The same thing i am experiencing with MSP432 launchpad and CC2650 Sensor tag debugger, With MSP432 flashing code take couple of minutes very simple LED program, and no debugging.

but everything goes fine with CCS v6.1 with MSP432 and CC2650 Sensor Tag, I am also user of IAR EW and i like it. But i wanted to check whether it is IDE problem or on board debugger. I wish I could have chance to check CC2540 with CCS but unfortunately CCS is not supported with CC2540. Finally I concluded that it is IAR EW IDE debugger problem. I wish IAR team will look at these problems and will improve in future.
