Hi,

I Did not found the defconfig file for am5728 or am57xx . In linux 4 and 6 sdk its like tisdk_am57xx-evm_defconfig.

please let me how can i build linux for am5728 board in sdk-linux-am57xx-evm-09_02_00_133.

Hello Ravindra,

You could use the Top level SDK makefile. You just run make linux from the top Directory: ti-processor-sdk-linux-am57xx-evm-09_02_00_133.

The config file that is used is the following: ti_multi_v7_prune.config.

Thanks for your reply

With this process my board was booted but while running QT application with weston, it consumes 100% of CPU(Monitored using top command).

Whether I use the prebuilt kernel image (zImage), QT application with Weston, it works properly and uses 0.7% of the CPU.Please give me solution for this.

Hi Josue,

As per your reply with the SDK Makefile ("make" linux command in the SDK main directory) is working and board was booted.

I also tried another method using cross-compilation steps with board defconfig also working. The defconfig was taken as using below procedure.

1.Boot the board with pre-built images

2.run the command zcat /proc/config.gz > tisdk_am57xx-evm_defconfig

3.Copy this config file from sdcard to you SDK path /SDK_PATH/board-support/ti-linux-XX/arch/arm/configs

Then follow the cross compilation steps
