Dear TI colleagues,

I want to ask a question about Launch Pad of AM243x(Schematic name:PROC109E1_SCH):

we can see the picture below: VDDSHV5 is the power supply of mmc/SD，but only connect to CAP_CDDSHV_MMC1，

no external supply,Is there a power conversion circuit for the emmc module inside the chip?

If so, for MMC 1.8V and 3.3V, are there corresponding registers to configure the desired level?

Besides, can I connect VDDSHV5 directly to VDDSHVx?

Hi,

VDDSHV_SDIO is sourced by CAP_VDDSHV_MMC1 through an internal dual-voltage LDO (3V3 or 1V8). The voltage is controlled by the MMC1 host controller.

Thanks Anita, it seem no need to connect to external power supply.

Hi,

There is no need for external supply if the connections are made to CAP_VDDSHV_MMC1 similar to the LP schematic. Please let me know if this answers your question.
