TDA2PXEVM: Frame loss in simcop link

Hi,

I am using SIMCOP link to perform some LUT based operation. Frame rate is 60 FPS. As per 60fps, in 16.6ms one frame should get processed. I am using 2 channels and current link latency is 7.7 ms average. But still frame drop is observed. What can be the reason of this drop? I am attaching performance report.

Hi,

How many buffers are allocated for the simcop output? Can you please try increasing it? It looks to be bit tight, because both the channels takes almost 15.5ms to process a single frame, so there is just a ms for sw overhead.

Hi,

For above results, 6 buffers are allocated for simcop output. I tried with 4 as well but still drop is observed.

Hi Pooja,

There isn't much we can do here. Two instances of simcop is already taking around 15.5ms. For 60fps graph, we are around 16.6ms time period. which means, there is very less time for sw overhead.
